Asclepius · ἰατρῶν θεός

The Asclepian lineage

To the ancient Greeks, bees were sacred. In the sanctuaries of Asclepius, the god of medicine, honey and propolis belonged to the physician before they belonged to the diet.

We live on Asklipiou Street, in central Athens. Our name is a tribute to that lineage: the bee as healer, the beekeeper as guardian, the product as both remedy and food.
